Foraging and the Rebirth of Environmental Consciousness

When we forage for food, we begin to look at the land and our surrounding environment as a source of food and culinary value. Foraging, as a sustainable practice, gives us greater stewardship over the land and a greater concern for its overall well-being. When we live off the land, we love, appreciate, and take greater care of that land.
