How to write a business plan, sample business plans, templates, and more.

So Jill suggested to me that I draw up a business plan. I figured it couldn’t hurt, so I began looking into exactly how one would go about drawing up this “business plan.” Completely foreign to me, I did some researching online and came across this excellent free resource that guides you through the process and provides you with a “fill-in-the-blank” template for your very own business plan. The program at www.myownbusiness.org is divided into 16 sections. You read each chapter and then at the end of each of those chapters you answer the questions on the assigned worksheet. At the end of the program you have read all 16 chapters and you have a fancy, ready-to-go 16 part business plan of your very own!!!

Not the most exciting stuff….the program actually took me over a week to complete. Thought I would share this resource as the latest with the business launch. Also thanks to Jill. It was her suggestion that I write this thing, after all. So obviously she gets the duty of revising and editing this mess. Have fun with that… :) 
